Caroline Pollington

Lead Nurse Care Home Vanguard Programme, Sutton Clinical Commissioning Group
Caroline graduated as an adult nurse in 2001, following undergraduate study in anatomy and biology. The first 14 years of her career were within acute neurosciences, in a range of roles including ward-based nurse, clinical nurse specialist and departmental educational lead. Her passion for both neurosciences and education led to masters qualifications in these areas. In 2015 she joined the Sutton homes of care Vanguard as a Darzi fellow in clinical leadership which has enhanced her capabilities to work across organisations and systems and she is now the lead nurse. Caroline firmly believes in individual empowerment to achieve greatness and that by giving health and social care professionals the right skills, knowledge and support, they can have a huge impact on both individuals and systems.
