Don't Miss - Christopher Greany

Christopher Greany, Head of Group Investigations, Barclays Security Office will be speaking in the Digital Healthcare Transformation Theatre 2 on Wednesday 28th 2017, 12:00 -12:30.

Session title:
YOUR DATA IS THE NEW COMMODITY
20 years ago criminals broke into properties and business and stole physical things that you feel, see, touch. Now they are breaking in through your computer networks stealing your data. The lives and information of millions of people are the new commodity for sale on the criminal black market. Healthcare data is some of the most personal data available and once you have been breached it is gone. It can't be recovered, it's in the hands of the criminal. Being able to secure, protect and monitor what's happening to data on your networks should be one of the top business critical issues that you deal with.
Key learning points:
- How cyber criminals attack your systems
- How to protect your business from becoming a victim
- what to do when it happens

NHS Transformation Unit

The biggest reorganisation of NHS services seen in decades is in full swing across the country. In Greater Manchester devolved powers over the health and social care budget will put patients and communities in the driving seat when it comes to choices that affect their lives.

As part of health and social care reform in the city region, theNHS Transformation Unit has secured a commission to support the standardisation of acute and specialised care.

It’s well placed to do so, because the NHS Transformation Unit - an independent, not-for profit, NHS-owned consultancy - has already led on a number of high profile projects, including the trailblazing Healthier Together programme, which was a starting point for the transformation of acute services in Greater Manchester.

Leila Williams, Chief Executive, NHS Transformation Unit is leading a session at Health Plus Care this week. She will be focusing on the experiences and lessons learned from Healthier Together and looking to the future of acute service reform in the city region.

Leila will cover planning and making the case for major transformation; developing new clinical standards and models of care; the importance of engagement and consultation; and how to approach implementation.

Come and listen to Leila Williams speak in the Keynote Theatre from 12-12.30pm on Thursday 29th June, or visit Stand R55 to discover how the NHS Transformation Unit can help you.
