Patient First will take place next year at the Health + Care on 27th & 28th June at London ExCeL.
Health+Care was launched in 2011 as the Commissioning Show. It has evolved over the years to become the UK’s largest integrated health and social care conference and exhibition for senior clinical, management and commissioners addressing priority areas for the NHS. From 2018 patient safety will become a significant additional new focus of the event, and specifically on HOW to make the changes that will turn around the NHS and make it fit for purpose for the next 70 years and beyond.
Patient Safety will be streamed throughout all theatres across the show floor, with two dedicated to Infection Control once again. The content of the show will be as hard-hitting, insightful and engaging and practical as ever for senior audiences right across the NHS clinical and management spectrum. It will be a platform for debates on key issues such as short-term cost reduction targets vs. patient value; preventing patients falling through the gaps because of lack of data availability; reducing hospital readmissions through improved self-care; reducing length of stay in hospitals through better infection control / reduced incidents / improved patient experience and flow; and showcasing examples of best practice through the whole care pathway to those who can shape the future. Health + Care is the platform to broadcast the patient safety agenda and promote infection control best practice.
