Transforming the NHS Estate

A modern, resilient and fit for purpose estate is essential in supporting pandemic recovery and delivering the ambitions of the NHS Long Term Plan. In this session, Simon Corben, NHS England and NHS Improvement’s Director of Estates and Head of Profession, will provide a strategic overview of the priorities for estates and facilities - including capital investment to deliver new and improved infrastructure, sustainability, and developing our workforce. He will also outline how the national team is supporting local teams to modernise, enhance and transform the NHS estate for the benefit of staff, patients and visitors.
