Making mental health a post-pandemic priority
The time of COVID has had a huge impact on the mental health of the population and on NHS staff, both in England, the UK and internationally. As the nation and our NHS moves into recovery, we need to prioritise mental health to mitigate the lasting psychological effects of Covid-19.
The session will outline what the impact has been on NHS front line staff, on children and young people, those with existing mental health conditions and the general population. It will highlight the immediate actions taken by NHS England and Improvement to expedite mental health support during the time of COVID and the work currently underway to continue to support the nation’s mental health.
