Building the Dementia Pathway in the aftermath of COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating and disproportionate impact on people affected by dementia, the effect of which has taken a heavy toll not just on the provision of care and support services, but also directly on people affected by dementia themselves. Gavin will talk about the need to improve the dementia pathway from diagnosis to end of life, and how learning from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, national commitment to social care reform and the development of a new National Dementia Strategy has the potential to do just this.
