Solving the workforce crisis: Five key lessons from the front line

With workforce becoming an ever-greater challenge for providers across our sector it requires more and more imaginative methods to ensure that our staff rosters remain full. Based on our own experience of running care homes with zero short term agency staff and research into workforce over the past year I will run through some of the recent changes and pressures that have occurred in the workforce space. These will then be brought together into five different strategies that providers can bring in to their workplace to improve their position. I hope that any attendees will be able to take away some actionable points that can be put into practice on the floor to improve recruitment and retention in their setting.
