Using evidence to improve front-line services – a case study from Northern Ireland

18 May 2022
People and Business Theatre
In deciding how to improve care for people and their families, it is vital that we draw on different types of evidence to understand the challenges and identify different ways of responding to these. This includes formal research evidence, but also that drawn from lived and practice experience. The Demonstrator projects within the IMPACT centre explore how social care care can better deploy evidence in tackling wicked issues as it seeks to co-produce new solutions with people and communities. This session will reflect on learning to date from the first Demonstrator project which is based in Northern Ireland and is seeking to better connect up community resources with statutory health and social care services.
