Chief Digital and Partnerships Officer, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust
David is accountable for digital technology, applications and data at Oxford University Hospitals as their Chief Digital and Partnerships Officer. David provides leadership for strategy, information and the digital transformation of the Trust and its relationships with external partners, acting as Trust lead on developing integrated partnerships in particular with the Oxfordshire place-based system. David is also the Trust lead on all Freedom of Information matters and is the Senior Information Risk Manager for the Trust. David joined the Trust in October 2019 from Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust where he was the Chief Information Officer at both trusts. Prior to his roles in Liverpool David worked as National ICT Manager for the Welsh Ambulance Service and Head of Informatics for Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust where he commenced in 2004 after 10 years in the commercial sector. David holds a MSc. In Health Informatics and is a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
