Anant is currently an Oxford Martin Fellow at the University of Oxford. His work focuses on how to reorient healthcare systems to focus more on population health - namely, keeping people healthy and preventing them from getting sick. Prior to his role at Oxford, Anant was Executive Director at Better Value Healthcare, a working with governments in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Southeast Asia to help them redesign their healthcare systems to focus more on value based healthcare. He received his PhD from Yale University and BSc from Brandeis University. As an academic, Anant works with the pharma industry and health systems to define clinical outcomes that matter to patients, advise on how the use of real world outcomes data will inform the design and optimisation of care pathways and therapeutic regimens and position clinical outcomes to highlight the value proposition of products and services.
