Dr Jorge Zimbron

Dr Zimbron is a consultant psychiatrist working at Springbank Ward in Cambridge. Springbank specialises in looking after women with a diagnosis of personality disorder (PD) who are at high risk of completed suicide and have not benefited from other interventions. Springbank is the only unit of its kind in the NHS and receives referrals from all over the UK. Dr Zimbron is also a member of the executive committee for the British and Irish Group for the study of Personality Disorder (BIGSPD) and Chair of the charity ‘Choices’, which provides free counselling to victims of childhood sexual abuse.
