Shaleeza Hasham is Head of Communications & Commissioning at CHD Living, an award-winning, family-owned and operated group of care services comprising 13 residential facilities, two specialist rehabilitation centres and a domiciliary care business. Since joining the family business over 10 years ago, Shaleeza has overseen the strategic business development and growth of all CHD Living’s services, whilst also completely rebranding the organisation. She has devoted much of her time to implementing new technologies and systems across the business. Shaleeza is also the Founder of the Adopt a Grandparent programme, a socially driven initiative to combat isolation and loneliness amongst vulnerable people, which went viral during the COVID-19 pandemic garnering the support of over 80,000 people globally. Passionate about discussing issues impacting the health and aged social care sectors, Shaleeza regularly provides expert commentary on national and international news outlets and has been featured on the likes of ITV News, BBC News, Sky News, CNN and Good Morning America. Prior to joining CHD Living, Shaleeza obtained an Undergraduate degree in English Language & Communication Studies from King's College London, before going on to embark upon a career in B2B & Tech PR, where she managed a wealth of impressive clients including Facebook, Apple, Websense and Microsoft Office Small Business. Wanting to follow her passion for Health & Social Care, Shaleeza returned to education and completed a Masters in International Healthcare Management from Imperial College London’s Business School.
