Shankar Sridharan

Dr Shankar Sridharan is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist and board-level CCIO (Chief Clinical Information Officer) at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is a digital doctor and one of the UKs leading experts in the healthcare applications of technology and use of Social Media for ‘team communication’ in Healthcare. In his role as CCIO at GOSH, He has recently delivered a successful EPIC Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. He co-founded and opened the NHS DRIVE Informatics unit. Digital Research, Informatics and Virtual Environments (DRIVE) is designed to bring together the country’s leading clinicians, computer scientists and leading Industry partners to work at pace and scale and repurpose technology for health.
